Cable management in the office in 5 steps
Cable management can be achieved at your office in 5 steps:
1. Telephone inventory
Once you have submitted a request, we will contact you by telephone. During the conversation we take stock of the layout of your office. This way we can determine what the basic principles are and we have an idea of what situation we will encounter.
2. Disconnecting existing workplaces
Once the first step has been completed, an expert will visit you at the office to get started. Existing workplaces are disconnected. If necessary, we remove outdated cables and components.
3. Connecting cable management to desks
After disconnecting, we start connecting. We install power strips under the workstations that are equipped with GST connections. With these connections you can safely connect power strips, meeting the insurance requirements and NEN-1010 guidelines. We connect the power strips to the correct length with a connection or coupling cable. Our cable management is aimed at ensuring that cables of the correct length are connected. During coupling, we install a cable duct if necessary. We place any power strips, adapters and cabling in there.
4. Setting up workplaces with monitor arms
Are the workplaces equipped with monitor arms? We then mount the screens on this and adjust the monitor arms to the weight of these screens. This way, your employee can effortlessly adjust the screens for height and depth. The screens are connected using the power strips located in the gutter. After connecting, everything is neatly finished.
5. Testing cable management
We will work with you to test the correct functioning of your workplace equipment after the cable management work.
