Corporate identity page

This is the corporate identity page. On the corporate identity page we show all the options of the CCMS. This page can be set to non-public when the website goes live. You can use this page as a reference to see which components you can use to build a page.

Tip: Read this page carefully before you start.

Page structure (heading 2)

The structure of a page is as follows:

Banner (in Images tab: Banner)
Page title (can be managed in the language > General)*
Long description (to be managed at the language > Long description)
Call to Action (to be managed in the general tab)
Common linked images in a filmstrip (in Images tab: Regular link)
Linked form (can be linked in the Relations tab > Forms) (not currently used)
Right column next to long description (this appears when an image is linked to the Right column, in the Images tab)
- Image Right column: If this image is not linked you will see the long description over the full width.
- The USP block automatically appears below the image.
Content blocks at the top (can be linked in the Content blocks - Top tab)
Overview of subordinates (view can be chosen in the General tab)
- Title blocks (to be managed in the language > General)
- Overview of underlying contents included: pages, blocks, and blog items.
- Call to Action under blocks (to be managed in the General tab)
Content blocks in the middle (can be linked in the Content Blocks - Center tab)
Linked blocks, intended to reference projects. The title above appears automatically. (to be managed in the Relationships tab)
Linked pages, intended as features, for example to link services to projects. (to be managed in the Relationships tab)
Linked FAQ questions (only if FAQ module available, not currently applied)
Content blocks below (can be linked in the Content Blocks - Below tab)

Everything above is optional, except the page title.

You can use a block to link to other parts of the website. A block consists of a title, image, link and possibly a short description.

Block - More info (title)

A block does not necessarily have to have a link, so you can also use blocks to show an overview of something.

Block - Image use

The best thing is to link images in the same ratio. E.g. 3:2 or 4:3 or 16:9. In this overview the images are 3:2.

Underlying pages are also shown in an overview. This allows you to easily build the website from multiple layers, for example for services.

Content block Text left / Text right (title)

The content blocks are shown in the middle below the overview. These content blocks are located between the child overview (above) and the linked blocks overview (below).

Two columns of text (heading 3)

This Content Block has the option to fill two columns with text. This is useful if, for example, you want to place an SEO text. It also breaks the page because this component is made up of two columns.

You can add an image in the long description, but the image links for this content block are not used.

Linked blocks

You can use these blocks to refer to projects. The blocks have been created under the example projects. They link to the project. You use this, for example, on a services page.

Linked pages

These pages can be used to direct the visitor to services. For example, on a project page you can use this to indicate which services have been used.

This Content Block has the option to show an image below the long description of the Content Block that is displayed across the entire width. This can, for example, be used for a banner that matches this text.

The use of Call to Actions

A Call to Action can be selected for each content block. It is important to guide your visitor into the funnel using Call to Actions. For example, from your services, to your work, to the quotation page. Without Call to Actions you will get much fewer conversions.

Create your own Call to Actions

You can create Calls to Actions yourself. You can do this under Home > Call to Actions. We have created the most common ones, but you can add more yourself. A Call to Action consists of a name (shown on the button), a link and a reassuring text. The reassuring text is shown below the button and is intended to persuade the user.

Content block multi image scroller

With the Content block multi-image scroller, multiple images can be displayed that can scroll. This works by creating blocks under this content block. These are then shown with an image, the title appears on mouse-over. You can also use the link options (internal or external). The images are automatically displayed in black and white, and in color when mouse-over.

This content block uses: Title, Long description, Call to Action, Underlying blocks.

Content block with video

Content blocks can also be used to show a Youtube video. There is no separate display option for this, you can choose one of the following displays:

Image on the left
Image left (narrow)
Image on the right
Image on the right (narrow)
Image below

In place of the image, the YouTube video will be shown. In this example, Image on the right has been chosen.

Linking the video

First look up the video on YouTube
Then click on share under video.
Then click on embed.
You will now see a piece of code, copy the link from it that starts with https://www.youtube.com
You enter that link in the content block, in the general tab, in the field: Video link, for example: https://www.youtube.com/embed/NM6-PYKAFPo?si=qJ79YSogGtnKNi0B

Content block Image left and right

The text from the long description of this content block is optional. Therefore the title is not used. If you still want to show a title for this content block, you can manually add it in the long description.

2x image

This content block has an image on both the left and right. This allows you to display two sized images in a content block next to each other. The main image is shown on the left, the Additional image on the right.

Used in this content block: long description, long description on the right, main image and extra image.

Optional video

As indicated in the content block above, you can also show a video, it works exactly the same with this content block. Only use the video link extra if you want to show the video on the right for this content block. (For links: video link).

Content block Editor capabilities

The following additional formatting options can be used in the editor:

Text colors

When you select a piece of text, you can apply a different text color by clicking on a color in the Format dropdown. The choice is green, orange or red.

Buttons

Normally you activate buttons by selecting a call to action on the content blocks or on the page. But it is also possible to create buttons manually. This works as follows:

Type the text that should appear on the button
Select this text
Create a link on the text
Reselect the text
Now choose a different style in the Format dropdown, for example: Medium Call to Action or Soft call to action.

Additional text options

In addition to the standard formatting options such as bold, italics, underline, text can also be striked through or placed in _subscript or in ^superscript.

Hide or show text on mobile

It is possible to hide specific text on mobile. Method:

Select text to be hidden.
Choose for formatting: Hide on mobile.

Conversely, it is also possible to choose text that is only shown on mobile.
